String Quartet No. 2 "Little Commentary"

(2011)

The work refers to the theory of rotation of the celestial spheres formulated by Nicolaus Copernicus for the first time in the manuscript Commentariolus (Little Commentary) around 1514.

A rotation is understood here as a multiple return.

The composition was created in 2011 at the request of the Pro Novum company, on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.
